Benchmade 15200 Altitude. You might have to shop around to find one at your price, but they can be found. Amazing little fixed blade that is great at holding an edge

Handles well, this knife is awesome especially for my sheep and mule deer prairie hunts where I carry a lot of gear. I didn't know if i'd like the orange but it's great, you never have to look for it. Great purchase

 Generally I will need to change knives or touch up my edge about half way through an elk. Don't get me wrong, my edges aren't totally dulled out, but they certainly aren't as sharp as when I started. I have been using my KOA D2 elk hunter for the past ten years. Small and extremely Sharp

This is a spendy knife but it is well worth the price. I purchased the firstlite edition knife because it is $30 cheaper on Amazon than anywhere else at the moment.

Benchmade Does It Again.

  With S90V steel and a stripped-down design, the Benchmade Altitude packs a ton of cutting prowess into a superlight package.

But for those looking for a tough fixed blade that weighs scant ounces for hunting, this one should be high on the list.

I personally like small knives like this for processing game in the field. Not only are they easier to control, but they also are less likely to cut a buddy who gets their hands in the wrong places while you’re working.

If you’re looking for a fixed blade knife that will be a reliable companion when you’re out in the wild, look no further! The ergonomic design is easy to hold and carry with the included leather sheath. Great for survivalists, tactical personnel, outdoors-men or anyone who appreciates fine craftsmanship and an amazing blade.

Carbon steel blade. The upper half along with a bit by the handle has a rough dark finish with pit marks to give you an old feel and look. There upper spine includes custom file work. It's straight edged and razor sharp. The blade comes well oiled to protect and prolong it's life. The handle is smooth finished wood. It's natural wood in color with some grain and a brass bolster.

Included with the knife is a dark brown leather sheath with a 1 1/2" belt loop.

 The stitching on the sheath looks nice at first until you look closely. Lots of areas where the threads are just waiting to get snagged on something. Rite Edge? Not quite...

Just received my knife and it is an amazing blade for the price, came sharp right out of the box. The handle is comfortable and the sheath fits well. The file work on the spine is a nice touch. I will use and abuse this knife and not worry because it didn't break the bank and yet I am proud to carry such a well made thing
