Benchmade Altitude Fixed Blade Knife vs Kristal bronze horseman

Handles well, this knife is awesome especially for my sheep and mule deer prairie hunts where I carry a lot of gear. I didn't know if i'd like the orange but it's great, you never have to look for it. Great purchase

This was a welcome but not enriching sequel to "The Bronze Horseman." The flagship novel was amazing, in my opinion -- I actually dreamed about it for days, and was so impressed with it that I gave copies to my close friends for Christmas. When I myself finished The Bronze Horseman, I couldn't imagine not reading this sequel, and overall I am glad I did, because it resolved lingering tensions that existed after the close of the first book. It was, however, a bit lukewarm after The Bronze Horseman, mainly because it felt like a reprise in many ways

I have been using my KOA D2 elk hunter for the past ten years. It's a great knife, but at the end of last season I decided to start looking at some of the higher end steels. I am on a bit of a quest to find a knife that will remain sufficiently sharp through an entire elk. I have several benchmade pocket knives and I really like them so I decided to try a couple of their hunting knives to see how I like their design/feel and to test the edge holding retention on elk hide

This is a spendy knife but it is well worth the price. I purchased the firstlite edition knife because it is $30 cheaper on Amazon than anywhere else at the moment.

This is the second book in the series, and my local library's copy is lost, so I purchased it for a great price and have passed it along to our local library to replace their lost copy.
