Really nice quality. The auto-close/open is solid built and a great feature. The wood isn't as dense as I thought it would be, but it's still smooth and nice to the touch. The handle is fantastic to hold

So when it comes to umbrellas, I always thought you had to make a choice: either a big golf umbrella for quality (but a lack of portability, plus it's expensive), or a smaller one for an on-the-go lifestyle (cheap, and cheaply made). So color me pleasantly shocked with this umbrella from Balios.  For starters, when I opened the box, I was happy to see that it was a decent weight.

 Then I saw the handle. Yes, the style is nice (though style doesn't really make me purchase an umbrella, per se), but the ergonomic grip was fabulous. My hand felt like it belonged there, and that it would be easier to hold should conditions be more blustery than an average rain shower.  The first time I pushed the button, it opened effortlessly, and I was really surprised to see a vented canopy, like you'd see in much bigger (and much more expensive) umbrellas

The Best Travel Umbrella I've Used...

 I has a very luxurious feel to it. Couple that with thicker ribs and you have a sturdy umbrella.  The second feature was the double canopy to provide a wind proof experience that should in theory prevent this umbrella from turning inside out like my last one. Although I have used it int he rain and it rolled off like water off a ducks back, I haven't used it in high wind yet

 This one is like a heavy duty tactical umbrella. The quality is apparent and the materials make it feel like high end. I am sure it will last for many years. I will update after testing it in the wind

 Nice feature. The handle has a nice soft rubber texture with knuckle grooves to make it ergonomic and comfy. It is not a tiny nub of a handle like some compact umbrellas, but yet not too big so the umbrella is still compact. Very comfortable to hold

I'm constantly looking for "unflippable" umbrellas. I'm tired of cheap umbrellas being completely ruined the first time a wind gust comes. I usually go for the Gustbuster, but I was disappointed in the quality of my last GustBuster so I tried the Balios. Not much for color/design choices

It is Ok at best. The "real wood" handle is 100% plastic, so is the "metal". Better off going with a cheaper model since it not wood or of higher quality compared to other brands.

I picked up from Shady Ray and what I really like about these is they're so lightweight and also if I lose them or break them, they'll replace them for me

 It's a lot more powerful than some of the other scooters that I've tested from Gotrax. Another impressive stat with the scooter is it has 18 miles of range Now of course that's rated range from the manufacturer, but I'll be doing my own testing with that and I'll let you guys know later on in the video what I actually got from a full charge with this scooter, but still 18 miles of range. You can tell that they're using really high quality batteries in these more expensive top-of-the-line scooters. Also, to increase visibility, because this is designed as a commuting scooter, they upgraded this front headlight on the scooter

 So I actually get another new pair. If I break these like if let's say they fall off and I run over them with this scooter during this test video, they'll just send me a new replacement pair. Now this latch that you see in the back here that holds uh, this handlebar down to the back wheel so you can lift it up easier is the exact same latch that we've seen before. All you do is simply depress this down and then that allows you to lift up the handlebar and just pressing this down like that it'll actually clip into itself

Great Commuter Scooter

 Then i found the Elite and it had a few more things on it that i prefered over the Ultra. Rear lighting, wider deck, no more 2nd gear, matte black color, among others. I ordered mine and then all of a sudden they were no more! Anyway, i wanted this longer range scooter so that I can ride it around and down bike paths exploring and more or less extending my walking through neighborhoods and over to the coffee shop or duck pond. It does all that and is not so heavy in it's weight that i cant get it in the car and over to other parks and trails

I hope to become more confident as this scooter intimidates me a bit with it's very touchy throttle and tight braking system

I bought this because I wanted some thing to cruise around campus and still be able to pick it up and put it in my car or in a bag and leave by my desk ….as advertised I love it!!!

You know going into a scooter like this that you aren't getting a huge battery for 400 bucks? But 280 watt hours is still decent, and the range is better than I expected. Of course, not everything is so rosy. There's no suspension on the scooter, which means that your legs end up becoming the suspension as long as you spot for potholes

 You do get a ton of reflectors, which is nice since there's only one light on this thing and it's up front, but the scooter is literally surrounded by a half dozen different wide-angle reflectors, so cars will at least light you up pretty nicely at night. I would have preferred active lighting around the scooter, but did I mention this thing only cost 399 bucks At that price? I'm just happy that it looks well put together. Ultimately, this is what I'd call a good, not great scooter. It's fine, it's decent
