Really nice quality. The auto-close/open is solid built and a great feature. The wood isn't as dense as I thought it would be, but it's still smooth and nice to the touch. The handle is fantastic to hold

So when it comes to umbrellas, I always thought you had to make a choice: either a big golf umbrella for quality (but a lack of portability, plus it's expensive), or a smaller one for an on-the-go lifestyle (cheap, and cheaply made). So color me pleasantly shocked with this umbrella from Balios.  For starters, when I opened the box, I was happy to see that it was a decent weight.

 Then I saw the handle. Yes, the style is nice (though style doesn't really make me purchase an umbrella, per se), but the ergonomic grip was fabulous. My hand felt like it belonged there, and that it would be easier to hold should conditions be more blustery than an average rain shower.  The first time I pushed the button, it opened effortlessly, and I was really surprised to see a vented canopy, like you'd see in much bigger (and much more expensive) umbrellas

The Best Travel Umbrella I've Used...

 I has a very luxurious feel to it. Couple that with thicker ribs and you have a sturdy umbrella.  The second feature was the double canopy to provide a wind proof experience that should in theory prevent this umbrella from turning inside out like my last one. Although I have used it int he rain and it rolled off like water off a ducks back, I haven't used it in high wind yet

 This one is like a heavy duty tactical umbrella. The quality is apparent and the materials make it feel like high end. I am sure it will last for many years. I will update after testing it in the wind

 Nice feature. The handle has a nice soft rubber texture with knuckle grooves to make it ergonomic and comfy. It is not a tiny nub of a handle like some compact umbrellas, but yet not too big so the umbrella is still compact. Very comfortable to hold

I'm constantly looking for "unflippable" umbrellas. I'm tired of cheap umbrellas being completely ruined the first time a wind gust comes. I usually go for the Gustbuster, but I was disappointed in the quality of my last GustBuster so I tried the Balios. Not much for color/design choices

It is Ok at best. The "real wood" handle is 100% plastic, so is the "metal". Better off going with a cheaper model since it not wood or of higher quality compared to other brands.

Be aware, the small screws in the stem will come loose and need tightening. Now the Horizon. Where the Horizon shines: fast, softer more comfortable ride, super easy to fold up into a very compact and portable form, nice comfy wide bars that fold down, great grips.

I see a bunch of write ups on comparing these 2 as good starter or casual use scooters. I'm gonna buy one or the other, but pros and cons I have are:

**Hiboy S2 Pro - Pros:**

Solid tires (a pro for me, a con for others) because I don't want to worry about flats

Brakes on both front and back

IP54 water rating - wouldn't ride in pouring rain, but fine for minor splashes, drizzle, puddles

Slightly cheaper

**Hiboy S2 Pro - Cons:**

Narrow Handlebars

Motor in front (not sure if it matters but I'd prefer more weight in back)

Non adjustable height stem - I am 6'1 - would the Hiboy be high enough?

No front suspension

Reports of poor response from support

Reports of bars not staying tight (saw someone today riding one and they mentioned this)

So - all that said - would a person that's 6 feet or 6'1" be comfortable with the bar height and width of the Hiboy?
