Aventon is a relatively new player in the electric bike market, but they've quickly made a name for themselves with great-looking, quality models like the Level Step-Thru. Sleek design and excellent battery integration aside, the Level has a 500W &#40;750W peak&#41; motor capable of a 28 mph top pedal-assisted speed and can be configured as a Class 1, 2, or 3 e-bike. Five levels of pedal assistance provide a great range of support for your pedaling efforts along with a throttle that can zip you along at speeds up to 20mph. The large 672Wh battery and efficient use of power also helped make the Level one of the top performers in our distance range testing. We tested the Step-Thru version &#40;it also comes in a traditional step-over frame&#41; and we found it to be quite comfortable, with a very smooth, stable ride with responsive handling. Unlike many manufacturers that use a one size fits most approach, Aventon offers the Level Step-Thru in two frame sizes to fit riders between 4'11" and 6'2" tall. It also comes with an excellent user interface and useful features like fenders and a heavy-duty rear rack.
We found little to complain about with the Level Step-Thru, but we were a little disappointed that it doesn't come with lights. That said, aftermarket lights are relatively affordable, and the ones that typically come on complete bikes usually aren't that great anyway. Additionally, the handlebar has a limited range of height adjustability, so dialing it in your exact preferences isn't as easy as with some other models. Beyond that, we feel this quality e-bike is a fantastic option for the city, commuting, or just for fun.

 Are ergonomic grips by velo, they've kind of been shaped around the human hand. That really meshes nicely with your palm when you're holding on when it comes to the brakes on this bike. This has hydraulic disc brakes from bangle and 180 millimeter disc rotors. I love that they put hydraulic disc brakes on this bike, because it's rare that you find a bike at this price point that has those hydraulic disc brakes so kudos to event in

 As i mentioned in the specs, it isn't very common that you find a bike around this price point with this nice nice of brakes so kudos to a venting for the brake setup on this bike. It really adds to the overall experience and performance of the event and level [ Music ]. It has been a hell of a day, testing this event and level, and let me say i think this bike is the perfect super commuter for a lot of people. Reason being it hauls on anything, that's relatively flat, and it's also very easy and to maneuver and it's very nimble

7 seconds, that's decent! It would have been a lot faster if i didn't have to engage the pedals first. With that being said, eventon does offer the standard throttle where that test would probably be a little faster than what we received here. Last but not least, with the bike completely off, i got 15.3 seconds, which is respectable, considering the bike is 62 pounds because of this, it is gon na be a little bit hard to push, but because of the fast rolling tires, an eight-speed drivetrain

 Bikers we are to the infamous hill, the one. That'S a half a mile with an average grade of 12 overall. This is the steepest hill. We'Re able to find in town to test out how these e-bikes are capable of climbing, with throttle only and maximum pedal assist

 I think that this suspension fork here really makes the bike come alive reason being, is it really just absorbs a lot of that chatter that bucks you offline and fatigues you faster when you combine the plush suspension fork with the mentioned 680 millimeter handlebar, you have a Very confident front end on this bike, where you can absorb bumps with your body, and the bike can too thanks to its fork. This fork also comes with a lockout for those who do want to ride fully rigid, perhaps for more efficiency, but because i have that pedal assist, i left it fully open for the squish all the time. Your rubber here, you have 27.5 by 2

 This frame feels just as strong as its crossbar brother and i think, eventon's doing a really good job. Finding that median of good looks and good performance, there are a few things in the way of comfort and handling that i want to discuss with you guys on this bike. You may have noticed there is a 75 mil suspension fork on this bike. I'Ve left this out to talk about now

 I'Ve had a good experience with this bike so far. So, let's get into the nitty-gritty of what it's all about: [, Music, ], so the event and level is powered by a 500 watt geared hub motor with a 750 watt peak. I found this motor to be pretty torquey and it gets me up to my top speed pretty easily, where i don't have to work hard. That'S something i very much value in a commuter bike

 Having those eight speeds really plays a factor with you not having to work too hard. I started going up the hill in the hardest gear and i probably shifted four or five times by the time i was at the top just to keep that consistent, cadence going. So. Basically, i see this eight speed drive drivetrain keeping riders fresher and giving them a lot wider gear range for, if you're, on a flat ground, keeping the bike up to speed or crawling up a hill without getting sweaty

 So it's got kind of a. I don't know acceleration curve. A little bit starts off a little slow and then gets a little stronger over time. All right we're coming up here and right now this fork's been open

 Cross current x is a 700 hybrid. You know nice, nice city style bike with a little bit of front suspension and got it all powered up here with a little display. We'Ll wait for this truck to go past and then we will get going all right. So i'm starting out here, let's see here what pedal assist level i'm in so right now, i'm in eco mode

 So far. Let'S kick it up to three. There we go now. I can feel a little more kick to it

 Getting going some speed and then it looks like all right now or more or less, i kind of like their top pedal assist i'm gon na slow down here. What i'll head into the street? Of course you've got nice hydraulic brakes, so those are gon na. Be nice and responsive require too much uh on your end, we'll get going on so i'm just gon na throttle here. So the throttle's got a little juice got a little kick to it right at the beginning and nice smooth acceleration on that again, i'm gon na slow down here for the stop sign make sure no one's coming all right again

Juiced Bikes CrossCurrent X Test Ride

 Overall the CrossCurrents are the best bang for the buck over other brands because of their battery, quality name brand components and bafang hub motor.

What'S up people here we got the juiced cross. Current x commuter bike. This bike i picked up a few months ago um this is the 500 mile review. I have 543 miles on it at the moment

 If you keep writing at this pace, so 700 divided by 43, i'm not sure what that is. It'S all close to 20, something like that, but my range will be more than 20 because i'm gon na roll down this hill. What goes up must come down. So i need to get back down the hill

 This is a very aggressive ride. So far, three and a half miles been going uphill, i'm averaging 43.7 watt hours per mile. So if it's a 980 pack um, you usually get about 750 out of a kilowatt

 For that this was a 500 mile review juiced cross current x. I recommend it. I give it a 9 out of 10.

The bike is A-war dog this thing is built like a tank I love it I looked at it for a year and I finally pulled the trigger I could not be happier. It did show up with a broken kickstand But of course it came all the way from China to northern Illinois. I called them about the broken kickstand they did everything they could to get me another one I had it within a week iGreat customer service the people on the phone were fantastic what more can you say.Oh I can say this this thing's fast And it rides beautifully

 During the ride I programmed it into the R (race) mode. Now I know why the Juiced e-bikes are a bit heavier than most e-bikes. ( to keep them on the ground!) The (R) mode gives the bike a very nice boost of power and speed. Juiced bikes may want to sell wings as an accessory!

 He told me to bring it to a local bike dealer and have it looked at and fixed and send Juiced bikes the repair costs for the labor. I immediately did so and the bike repair shop found that the derailleur needed adjustment. ($15.00 labor charge)

 When I got home I took a 5 mile ride. It seems to be performing very nicely. During the ride I programmed it into the R (race) mode. Now I know why the Juiced e-bikes are a bit heavier than most e-bikes

Hey guys had a lot of requests for this one, I'm looking at the juice, spikes cross-current s and I'm with the founder of the company. This is Torah how's it going man how's it going. Man dude. I I enjoyed the last set of reviews

 Do a brake test. I want to see those, you know, don't hurt yourself, though it's doing quick shifts, oh yeah, nice, and that light really is bright. You definitely get a if there's like a level of awareness. Oh, that's a very important thing to really draw people when you're writing real fast

 So you have plenty of room for your feet, not gon na slide off. Here we go super-smooth, I'm not pushing very hard right now, and it does just feel like a bicycle. Something people frequently comment on with electric bikes like mosh, for example, it's like man, even the Eco mode, like the lowest mode, feels kind of powerful. Like I just wan na cruise, I want to chill you got that here
