 I think the build quality of the device is premium. The only thing that I think that isn't is the antenna, for whatever reason it doesn't seem like it matches the rest of the device. But as far as the connections go, the RCA connections are really solid as well an additional optical audio option for anyone that has a receiver that wants to make that Wireless as well is a really good plus now pairing. The b1 is a fairly simple process

 When I would play audio from my computer. I didn't hear any audio differences, but I did notice when I played it from my phone. I didn't get that and then, when I went back to my computer it didn't do it. It was very intermittent

I did not pay with my own money for this device, but with that said, I will tell you things that I like and did not like about the device and if it's a good buy for people that want to have a wireless receiver for their monitors. All right guys, let's get into it, so I've had the audio engine, be one for about a week now, using it kind of as my daily form of audio when it comes to using my computer and streaming music from my phone. So let me talk about some of the things that I liked about the b1

Audioengine B1 Bluetooth Receiver Review

 Switching between pausing and playing rapidly on the iPhone also yielded near-instantaneous results, and never forced the stream into crashing, as sometimes occurs&nbsp;with AirPlay. So, for streaming endurance, the B1 gets high marks. But how does it sound?

PerformanceIt's ideal to have the receiver within 25 feet or so of the sound source, with&nbsp;fewer walls and doors involved, but the B1 showed strong performance beyond that.  On the flip side, I don't want to inadvertently downgrade to a worse option if the Marantz is already decent for audio. Also, I still need to deal with my TV audio..

 It's not a great connection, but I live in a rural area and it's what I have to work from:  1. System 1 - AEB1 connected via TOSLink optical to Musical Fidelity V90 DAC, feeding a Quad 405/2 power amp joined to a Quad 44 pre-amp driving Mission 771 bookshelf speakers.  2. System 2 - AEB1 connected via TOSLink optical to MHDT Havana tube/SS DAD, feeding an Acurus A/150 power amp joined to an Acurus LS11 pre-amp driving vintage Spendor SP1's that I bought new in 1984

  I have thousands of dollars worth of mid-range audiophile equipment that has been constrained by my no longer having all the input sources (vinyl and CD) that I once had. With the $189 addition of the AEB1, I feel like a kid in a candy shop.  It may be that some of the cheaper options work about as well - I don't know - but for $189, why fool around - this thing is a passport to the soundtrack of your life. Highly recommended
