I’ve been wanting to upgrade because I have no need for a USB turntable and I want a more minimalist design. I listen to all music types, but mostly Rock, Pop, Country, EDM. I’ve been starting to research some upgrades from the AT-LP120 turntable into the Planar 3, Marantz, and Clearaudio turntables.

Speakers look good and sound great with my CD/Cassette recorder and player (Tascam) and turntable. Bought speaker stands (27” ht) to match speakers and organize cables. Speakers are very efficient and sound great low, mid and high volume settings. Very decent bass for speakers of this size

I’m beyond impressed and absolutely hooked. I definitely recommend them for someone wanting to get started and do not know exactly what they want.

I will say that they definitely benefit from a break in period. First out of the box they are really forward and the treble is biting. After some break-in though it mellows out and they sound great. Please remember that these are small speakers

I did try with the built in Dynamic Bass EQ in both settings: on and off. Just not a full, correct sound either way. The frequency balance seems off. I switched the Klipsch to LINE and enabled the phono stage built into the 120x turntable instead and it sounds MUCH, MUCH better

Hooked them up and easy connection with iPhone bluetooth. However, bluetooth connection was dropping out through several songs and would intermittently connect and disconnect randomly. Initial sound quality was decent and the bass notes really resonated. However, this came at the expense of muddy sounding mids and lack of clarity

The Kipsch people made this for people who know what they are doing. It's been years since I've had to set up speakers, and the manual gives no instructions at all (and neither does their website). Once I figured out how to connect the speakers, then one has to figure out the bluetooth. Again, no real instructions (except for pairing with your phone) and the manual actually just sends you to their website where there is no instructions! It appears, from the manual, that you can only connect other devices through cords hooked to your turntable or computer BUT after playing around and moving my turntable closer to speakers, I did get it to pair
