(score: 90/100 points) Pros –It does a variety of tasks really good with no real weakness at anything. It’s best for listening enjoyment…not professional studio monitoring as advertised. It has very warm sounding vocals, a balanced sound (with very slight favor to lower mid range & upper bass), and comfortable (loose) fit on my ears/head. It handles thick, polyphonic music passages with ease without distortion…while keeping the main melody/vocals volume and tone quality still cutting through with warmth

Inoffensive, in other words. Not really a lot of sibilance, a small peak in the air region which is rarely audible.

If you are a travelling person that is exposed to lots of noisy situations the qc15 or the and-9's are the better fit for you. I myself transit much of the time. However, the loudness at which I play my music blocks out much of the noise (with the m50s which is around 50%). It all depends on how much noise that surrounds an individual

If you needed ANC, one of the best sounding options is the Sennheiser Momentum 3 Wireless for $350 (on sale).

They are a bit muted in the sound signature which can make them less fatiguing than other, more analytical, headphones. By contrast, the 600s have less weight and less pressure, the fabric holds without my feeling it, and the headphones don't move at all regardless of which direction my body moves or leans - they feel like they're part of my body. They're so comfortable I've forgotten I have anything on. The ATH are anomalous in that the ear cups are too small for my ears but the material is so yielding that they hold very well and the pressure doesn't cause discomfort or headache. Pros: Clarity and transparency of sound Easy set up, easy to use Cons: Not comfortable for long listening periods Won't stay in place unless the body stays in place - which is counter-productive for wireless phones (and a deal breaker)

No scratches, no loosened parts, no cracks, NOTHING. These are SOLID. If you were to choose one last pair of headphones and head out to Narnia where you won't be buying any new ones any time soon, these would be the ones. What's more, I recently looked for someone who dismantled them online, or straight up broken them, to have a better look at their insides and I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that the ENTIRE HEADBAND is made out of METAL

Update 8/25/2021: The second bluemini is already dead, dropped to three stars. I bought some very nice closed headphones, but they're going back as the sound isn't even close and you sweat. These headphones still sound amazing, but the bluemini just isn't that good. Unfortunately the USB-C cable uses the bluemini (has the microphone), so using it for phone calls or zoom is no longer an option

I would consider [Audio Technica its $180 usd on Amazon and has the luxury of being wireless but with the option for a wired connection as well. They are more neutral sound wise but i go running in them while mainly listening to deep house, hip hop and a little bit of soul, i find the bass isn't really lacking and the isolation is pretty good but if they are a bit bright and or the isolation isn't quite where you want you could look into getting some replacement pads like Dekoni elite sheepskins later down the line to increase both bass and isolation

I chose this model because of price to performance reviews, and the Bluetooth ability. I plan on expanding into the audio world with a DAC, and getting more over the ear style headphones. Both open and closed backing. These are amazing for vacations too
