how am I supposed to adjust the speed with the platter upright and spinning and be able to use a screwdriver on the bottom of the turntable? Good question. The answer is it's a royal pain in the ***! I first had to buy a strobe card, since the turntable doesn't have a built-in strobe pattern, and use a work light with a true incandescent bulb (needed for the strobe pattern). I had to sit with the turntable balanced on the corner of my entertainment center with a record spinning and carefully adjust the speed with a screwdriver.
