You can still run most of your games but with a serious performance hit and no fan noise. If you have headphones you'll probably not notice either way.

In comparison, even the laptop I'm updating this on has faster wifi responses, and the manufacturer advised me the wifi on it is running sub par and slow at this time if I wish to send in for repair. With the MSI running far far slower than this, with lag so bad, I have given up using it, as a gaming PC, that's a huge issue. There is no ethernet port, which probably would have been an acceptable solution for me in many instances anyhow, since when I game, I prefer a direct ethernet connection usually anyhow. But, if the wifi had worked well enough, I would have kept the laptop for it's other performance benefits

Battery life is pretty darn good considering this thing has a 2060 in it (same idea for the 2070 model). Small things such as the mic and webcam are good as well and there is generally great ease of use.

Gaming laptop batteries are typically not the best and is by far the lowest point for me. It doesn't last long, with more graphically-demanding titles, as the case with the latter. I gave it 1 star, likely because this was used, and a fresh battery might perform better. In addition to NVidia's GeForce Experience software (not included) there are other optimization tools that come with with the stock OS, namely the MSI Dragon Center, but I'm yet to see a profound effect on the battery, so everything stays plugged into AC power
