 You can still run most of your games but with a serious performance hit and no fan noise. If you have headphones you'll probably not notice either way.

Solid laptop that runs everything on ultra

 Battery life is pretty darn good considering this thing has a 2060 in it (same idea for the 2070 model). Small things such as the mic and webcam are good as well and there is generally great ease of use.

Probably the best 15inch laptop on the market

 I am not a computer buff, so I am unsure how to give a thorough spec-type review. This laptop's overall performance has been amazing when it comes to playing games. The battery life is AWESOME. However, the fans can sound pretty loud when you are full-on gaming

 And unless you use headphones 24/7, be prepared not to be able to hear anything. The speaker placement is awful!!! So for the reasons of the microphone taking a crap within less than a year and being hard to hear out of the speakers unless you use headphones, I give this laptop a 3-star rating out of 5. Unfortunate to spend so much on a product for it to not be fully functional

Okay product, not sure I would ever buy again

I got this on Thanks Giving. After viewed many review videos on YouTube , I think this light weight beast is meant to me as I travel around a lot and am a computer graphics programmer. BUT, the battery life lasts 2 - 2.5h for just web browsing, 50% brightness, not even playing any music

 But the battery is even weaker than my Alienware17. This is a big problem. Let's find out why and hopefully fix it. I'll higher the stars if any progress

 So glad they came through with the fix. I changed the review from 2 stars to 4 stars because this is an excellent laptop, and the battery was my only issue with it. Now that it's fixed, its almost a perfect laptop.

I pre ordered this laptop and have had it for a few months now and it’s a good machine. Build quality is excellent and they keyboard is probably my favorite laptop keyboard that I’ve typed on to date.  I bought this machine for college classes and to bring to work, for there is a lot of downtime in my graveyard shift so I do a bit of gaming. The main reason I bought this laptop versus another gaming laptop was for the battery and I have to say that I’m disappointed in that regard

Great thin and light gaming laptop but battery isn’t as expected EDIT: BATTERY PROBLEM FIXED

 This battery lasts me for almost an entire day of college, then I come home to game and charge it for the next day.  My final words for this beast here..

I decided that the mag-15 was a keeper, even though it would throttle at lower temperatures then the others. Very good "All Rounder" here. Worth the money.

It's got everything I need: great looks (though not quite as sleek as a Razer), great build quality, amazing performance, awesome battery life (after the latest BIOS & Control Center updates), a really nice screen, keyboard, and lots of portability

Edit as of August 2020: Almost 10 months later and this laptop is still the BOMB! No problems whatsoever. I only last month performed an internal cleaning and repasted the CPU and GPU, and now it's running better than ever. Would recommend this to anyone. Coil whine ended up never bothering me

  The touchpad is very responsive but a little racket-y. I had to open the laptop and perform a slight adjustment after doing some research. Also, my unit has considerable coil whine, but I don't really mind that. For the price, this is a tremendous product

 It's slightly too big, so your right palm will rub against it and move the cursor and click while typing unless you manually disable it every time you want to type. It often doesn't register taps from the finger to clicks, you'll either have to tap 8-10 times rapidly or move to another part of the track pad. The right click area of the track pad registers your finger tap (a left click) before it registers the right click, so you often left click when you meant to right click.  It's a good laptop, but wow that trackpad
