Since it's for content creators, it has full sRGB coverage, and its color accuracy is excellent out of the box. You can use it for some light gaming on the side, thanks to its great response time and variable refresh rate support.

When it comes to Overdrive, Medium or Off is your best choice. The Strong mode has the best affects on lighter objects, but it over ghosts on darker objects. For the best results on this monitor, I highly recommend using a Display Port cord if your graphics card or motherboard supports it. HDMI is fine, but it doesn't carry color accuracy as well as the Display Port

Like most IPS panels, it has wide viewing angles that make it easier to share content with others. It handles reflections well and gets bright enough to combat glare, meaning it performs well in bright rooms. The stand allows for height, tilt, and swivel adjustments, and it can also rotate to portrait mode.

I didn't know IPS monitors could actually have bad viewing angles, but it was quite similar to a TN monitor in that regard. It is possible I just got a particularly "bad" unit, but I have read other comments complaining of poor viewing angles on their 24G2 monitors as well. I'm back to my 8 year old Dell IPS monitor which has much better viewing angles and slightly better overall picture quality than the 24G2. The 24G2 has a grainy anti-glare filter over the screen, which isn't really bad, but still noticeable, and hurts the overall picture quality

Good resolution. Tilts up, down, and side to side which is nice. My only complaint is that you can’t adjust the brightness or contrast (or much of anything else, picture-wise) without a 3rd party app. Ok for gaming, easy to see in dark areas like caves or at night in-game, but the contrast is so high that dark colors look almost black and lose definition in bright, daytime conditions (also in-game)

I wanted a larger, updated monitor for graphic design. This monitor is not it. I think this is more for a PC/Windows system. I could not get my iMac to recognize the monitor

Based from my experience i recommend a 1080p monitor for a gtx 1660 ti. 1440p is a bit heavy for a 1660 ti, but if you plan on buying a new GPU in the near future a 1440p monitor is a valid option. If you don’t plan on upgrading the GPU, i recommend a 24” 1080p monitor, like the AOC 24G2U.
