 It's not going to set your pulses, racing is not going to, um, you know, get you out there smashing the life out of your Pbs. But that said, it will do you just fine if you if you are in need of some form of stability. It is definitely an improvement over Nine and I think that's the critical point that I want to try and get. They have, I think tuned it up better

 They've gone for this light truss system um which is some wicked little technology they've put together to create the stability in the shoe. We along with the medial posting two degree this lot harder here on the inside of the shoe versus the outside where you've got the gel so it acts as that sort of uh yeah, like bowling alley. You know when you put them up for the kids, it just holds you and supports you. but you've got the gel to act to aid in terms of the cushioning and support

 It's just a completely new feel. It's actually the most important update on this shoe for me. The shoe also has gotten a new upper, more knit mesh ish. You still get the soft Essex feeling and the very very good fit

 It's not that this shoe doesn't give you the stability you need, it's just more natural. And I think this is a very, very important update that will be beneficial for almost every runner who needs the stability issue. It's just a completely new feel. It's actually the most important update on this shoe for me

 It's very breathable. It's soft. Yeah, it's It's everything you want from an upper. On the outsole you have the Essex Aha, which is a very, very nice rubber

 A completely new update is that they've changed how they make the stability in the shoe before. you had this plastic in here that would stop your motion. it would stop you from falling inwards. Now they've put another foam than the flight from propel

My life is forever changed with these GT-2000s.  I've owned and loved many women's Asics (including the GT-2000 7), but this shoe is some kind of sorcery. I'm a female with very high arches, overpronation, and recurring foot pain from stress fractures and both Achilles and extensor tendonitis.

 ASICS seems to have forgotten who wears this model for running. We are usually not the super quick runners looking for a light weight shoe. Rather, we are looking for a comfortable stability shoe that helps with our over pronation. These shoes do not help

 This one for me was not a good improvement from the prior year(s). I’ve worn this model because of it’s design to be a stability shoe for over pronation. ASICS seems to have forgotten who wears this model for running. We are usually not the super quick runners looking for a light weight shoe

 They actually hurt my feet from the lack of support. For the first time in decades I switched from ASICS to Brooks to try their stability shoe for over pronation. It was the highest rated in this category from my research. And after about five short runs they have been great

 But it felt like the sole simply did not cover my entire foot. The toe, for example, seemed to be protruding beyond the sole, pressing itself against the fabric. So I returned them not wanting to risk injury.

 You've got the Keanu, which is the brand's flagship model. It gets all the latest upgrades and the new the best technology the A6 Gt2000, which is a moderate stability trainer. It's also a great shoe for those who are neutral runners. It offers a touch of stability and has a good amount of new technology and upgrades made to it

The Keanu runs about 180 us dollars while the Gt2000 is up 10 from last year at 130 us dollars. There have been a lot of upgrades to the Gt2000 in the last two years with a completely revamped midsole in the 10

 A big change to the upper is that it is now an engineered knit. It's now a knit replacing the older mesh it was meshed up through the 2009 [Music] and I noticed that the the upper is also simplified. There are fewer layers, but I did not notice a decrease in quality so the fewer layers are going to lighten up the shoe a bit. as I noted, but it's still a pretty quality shoe

 Now the big changes to this midsole and outsole you see that there's light truss light truss running along the medial aspect of the Gt 2010. The light truss replaces two aspects of the Gt2000. It replaces the old Duo Max foam which was a thicker foam, two densities that would run along the medial side of the shoe and that would help to combat pressure from any over pro. pronation

 Cutting through the shoe, The older models of Gt-2000 and the 2010, when I put the outsoles next to each other, they line up. The thing that is important to know though is that there's a little bit more length. just slightly more length to the 10.

 I again, as you know, have a narrow foot and you can kind of see i've buckled this in a little bit, but asics makes a little bit of room there for you to buckle it in. May you have a wider foot. How did you feel it fit? So i really liked the fit of the upper, and it reminded me quite a bit of the saucony endorphin pro in terms of the fit and also the lightweight design and build. I will say that this shoe might actually be a little bit wider in the forefoot

 You'Re going to notice, it has kind of diagonal lines, and what that does is you can have very thin open mesh in one part and then a little bit of a stronger mesh weave in the other part, and that lets a ton of air come in. So, as you're coming through, asics tested this with the meta racer as the air is coming through, it cools down the feet, cooler body, lower heart rate, excellent. It breathes really well with this design. The way that it's woven laterally, it can still hold your foot well and keep it in place without having to have like a really thick mesh

 We saw it on yuki, people are posting, you know, pictures on instagram and everybody wants to know is asics coming to the plate with a viable super shoe that i'm gon na say off the bat i'm gon na call this the lannister megan won't know what that Is because she didn't watch game of thrones, but jamie lannister was the king slayer and i'm gon na tell you we might have a king slayer in this show bold, i'm gon na start off bold. He also lost a hand, but that's a whole different story. So meg, where do you want to start with the shoe? I say: let's start with the upper, did you know that this upper is made from recycled water bottles or plastic bottles? I guess they didn't have to have water in them, but it's percent recycled. So before we get even into the performance, this shoe is a great environmental shoe up on the upper here and asics mentioned that that is one of their goals for all their shoes

 Moving forward, they're gon na have a recycled component in the buffer, but who cares if it's environmentally sound, if it doesn't perform well and this upper performs? Well, it is super light. Super breathable meg tell them about the design. So it's just one piece: mesh upper super thin, like thomas said, really breathable. The whole goal of this was just to make it as light as possible and breathable and minimal, but also giving you the structure and support that you need around the heel and collar yeah

Durability prediction, we're gonna go 307 out of 10 for the score, and I'm gonna go, I'm gonna put it in the long, I would, okay, I'm not, let's go there

 Midsole, flight foam, turbo, Asics grip on the outsole, and a $250 price point, all right? And that full review score, 7.2 out of 10. 7.2 out of 10

 Again, I would definitely do Saucony Endorphin Pro 3 if you're looking for a little more comfort for your 26.2 miles of racing out there around the world.
