 That'S come out around the lair inaccuracies I'll describe in this review, and I did a few experiments and tests to try to resolve that and uncovered some additional problems that I really want to include in this review. So without further ado, let's get started, as you guys think, is here from makers musing. This is the Sidewinder x1 and probably the last the party for this 3d printer, but that's somewhat intentional. It gives manufacturers time to iron out bugs and issues on release and reviews

 So it's pressing that all the connection points and pins into the ribbon cable - it's not fantastic! It'S not perfect, but I can't think of any other solution than to replace that breakout board and get a new plug, which ideally would be like the earlier machine seem to have with that little black latch that compresses the pins into the ribbon cable. So I just want to include that in this review, but it's a fantastic printer for the price. My conclusion is the same: with a few additional changes like the spool holder and tightening belts, you can get really really good results off it. I just wish that these ribbon cable connection points were more reliable

 Stopping the hot end from just keep keeping trying to heat, and, secondly, the poles of the pancake stepper will not be connected properly, so the machine will just buzz [, Music ] and that's really crap. That'S a real letdown for reliability on this machine. So originally I thought it was the ribbon cables having an intermediate connection, but it is that plug. I went through every single connection point with a multimeter and narrowed it down to that plug, so to fix it all, I've done - and it's really clergy is Jam sonic in to press against that connector

 That'S the only thing letting it down, and the price is also one of the more attractive aspects of the Sidewinder x1. It'S priced at 389, USD using the coupon code link below and that's a pretty good price for an assembled large format, printer with awesome, electronics. Artillery (EVNOVO) Sidewinder X1 Review

 I'm used to fan noise since sometimes I sleep with my desktop computer on, but the printer needs to be pretty silent. Not sure if its an extrenuating circumstance, but I would appreciate something quite reliable. I'm somewhat weary after reading QC issues with Artillery and Creality printers. 

I'm willing to build and learn how to do it, but I don't have very much experience doing so. I would like something easily upgradeable but reliable out of the box too.

* Your country of residence.
* If you are willing to build the printer from a kit, and what your level of experience is with electronic maintenance and construction if so.
* What you wish to do with the printer.
* Any extenuating circumstances that would restrict you from using machines that would otherwise fit your needs (limited space for the printer, enclosure requirement, must be purchased through educational intermediary, etc).

While this is by no means an exhaustive list of what can be included in your posts, these questions should help paint enough of a picture to get started. Don't be afraid to ask more questions, and never worry about asking too many. The people posting in this thread are here because they want to give advice, and any questions you have answered may be useful to others later on, when they read through this thread looking for answers of their own. Everyone here was new once, so chances are whoever is replying to you has a good idea of how you feel currently.

Additionally, a quick word on print quality: Most FDM/FFF (that is, filament based) printers are capable of approximately the same tolerances and print appearance, as the biggest limiting factor is in the nature of extruded plastic. **Asking if a machine has "good prints," or saying "I don't expect the best quality for $xxx" isn't actually relevant for the most part** with regards to these machines. Should you need additional detail and higher tolerances, you may want to explore SLA, DLP, and other photoresin options, as those *do* offer an increase in overall quality. If you are interested in resin machines, make sure you are aware of [how to use them safely](https://www.reddit.com/r/3DPrinting/wiki/resinprinting#wiki_safety). For these reasons we don't usually recommend a resin printer as someone's first printer.

Purchase Advice Megathread: What To Buy, Who To Buy It From, And More, In February 2021

 In addition to the fan being broken, I found that the extruder was damaged. Since the delivery I needed to use the printer for a school project which meant I would have to purchase a replacement fan and extruder for a total of $110.00. Last night Artillery contacted me via email telling me me case had been passed on to customer service and I would have to pay for my part to come from China

 Now the printer says the extruder is at 86 degrees constantly, regardless of if the old melted thermistor is plugged in, unplugged, new thermistor plugged in, etc.  The chinese new year starts very soon and I'm worried I won't be able to get any tech support for weeks. I'll go back and edit this review once the manufacturer helps me make this right, until then consider this review a big warning. Don't leave this printer unattended

 It took two months to get. They sent the same piece that’s just going to break. So, I had to buy their better version for $20 or so. That came, I replaced it but noticed the touchscreen wasn’t working, it had a tiny crack

 The company said they’d call to give directions but never did. Even after a reminder email from me. I looked on YouTube to figure it out. Had to break the warranty seal to do it

 Been doing this for forever. This is a very raw honest one month after. If you first find 3d printer, this is if you're in the market and you're the first 3d print that you're gonna get or just in general you look at this model. This is as closest of an honest review to a person that's not a professional but is experienced with this for at least a month

Creality CR10S Pro V2 Review

 The new main board is worth mentioning, as are the quiet TMC Stepper motor drivers and Cree. LED have made the surprising that welcome Moved to import Capricorn Teflon tube something a lot of people previously upgraded to Now I might add something subjective and it's how handsome this printer looks. compared to the previous CR Tens where there control boxes to the sides and wiring everywhere, this all-in-one design looks a lot more sophisticated I particularly like the red anodized aluminium pieces all around the machine. Not to say it's perfect

 even if Cree ality don't big tick to the power supply for using a branded and certified Meanwell version, it's probably once again worth mentioning the appearance. I Still think this thing looks pretty slick and I should also mention how quiet the stepper motor drivers are because not only does it produce very smooth movement, but they're quiet quiet as well. But what's all that noise then? well, like I've said, several steps forward. one step back
