 I'm going to take you through the Tracer 98. From a construction standpoint and shaping perspective,

 this ski is really well designed as your free ride touring ski. Our AR75 sidewall, full sidewall

 construction, but it's removed in the tip and tail, helps really lower the swing weight, makes the

 ski, if you're touring with it, easy, much easier to do. Kick turns, super quick and snappy. Most

 importantly, I think the most important technology in the Tracer 98 is the adaptive mesh, where we

 have a more of an elongated mesh weave in the tips and tails of the ski, which help keep the

 tip and tails quiet. And as you move the mesh underfoot, it orientates itself in such a way

 that really drives the energy of that ski into the edge. It gives you a really good edge hold.

The Armada '21-'22 Tracer 98

 98 millimeters underfoot, this one is the 188, and this one has an 18.5 meter turn radius, so it does turn a little bit faster than some of these other wider freeride skis, and that's just kind of a testament to its all-mountain profile that goes along with that freeride shape and personality. Pretty simple construction in terms of a wood core, it's just straight Karuba, so it's pretty darn light. They add a couple of things, they have their adaptive mesh, which is this crisscross material here

 So they're removing material that you don't quite need from a structural perspective. This lightens the ski, lightens the swing weight, adds to the playful nature as well. Pretty much a full sidewall underneath that cap there as well, so really good edge grip out of this ski. In terms of rocker profile and taper shape, pretty low camber underfoot, but that still helps it kind of ski a little bit flatter and really well-rounded in softer snow
