Comfort

A must for Apple users... But I wish some things were different...

well- I never really need a mouse when I'm just on my laptop.). I use this mouse with my daily iMac and it's awesome for the touchiness of it, I love the feel and being Bluetooth is AWESOME, because I don't love cords all over my best

Overall, A Great Mouse

Pros: -Super comfortable -The buttons fit my fingers well and allow my fingers to rest in the grooves -Responsive -Two buttons near my thumbs -Grips on the scroll make it easier to use -Up and down buttons on the mouse so I don't have to go into the program to use it -Plugging in brings up the program to install it, rather than having to find the install on the website -Chord is braided rather than rubber/plastic -Nice matte finish, doesn't get slippery, fairly nice texture Cons: -Thumb button placement makes it hard to reach the first button because of the size of my hand; seems clearly made for larger hands/men -DPI buttons seem to be in an inconvenient spot; have accidentally bumped during gaming

Functionality

A Great Mouse With Some Design Flaws

How exactly? Well before I list the features that I found missing, these are features that won’t be a big deal to a lot of people as there are other ways of completing these tasks but for the price of this mouse it would have been nice to see the functionality be packed in. Anyway, the two biggest features I noticed personally that were missing on the Magic Mouse are firstly, there’s no way to rotate photos or objects. This is something that can only be done on the track pad and secondly, whenever editing video on programs like iMovie, which again, not everyone will do, there’s no way to zoom in or out of the timeline you’re working in. This can, again, only done using a track pad or option within iMovie

Scroll Wheel Stopped Working after just 10 months

While the mouse functioned, its performance was satisfactory (3-stars). However, I hate the mouse software. I would prefer mouse software that is totally on my local machine (not online), which is much simpler, and which does need updates so frequently. At least half the time the mouse software does not initialize properly

Apple's Magic Mouse May See Redesign or New MagSafe Charging Capabilities

Magic Mouse is by far the worst Apple accessory. The sensor is trash, the port location is bad, the entire ergonomy of the mouse is non-existent. It absolutely needs a redesign.

Great gaming mouse for large hands.

The side buttons are large which is a favorite for me; and the position of the side buttons is perfect. Right on the middle of the curve where the thumb rests, easy to press both front and back without moving your hand. The comfort curves in the left and right click are a funky design but it feels good because it spreads your hand out more. The ergonomic shape is a bit weird to get used to at first due to the slick feeling matte finish and big drop off on the right side of the mouse

A Good Example of Form Over Function

Too much form over function to me. I would take a corded mouse over this one if I had to. Unless you prefer mice like the Apple Magic Mouse as opposed to a traditional style mouse with scroll wheels and a mouse like shape, I'd recommend trying out other mice first before paying for this one. Chances are you'll find something that's more comfortable and less frustrating to use for less money

I just have some weight and size problems with the current mouse, Razer Deathadder Elite. Someone says that if I am good at clicking, the kind of mice does not matter, but be honest.

Grip

I’m so disappointed with the Magic Mouse and I can’t believe it’s still in production. It’s extremely flat, awkward, and it’s non-ergonomic shape does not sit nicely in ones hand- at least not in mine. I feel my hand cramping after five minutes of using one because it forces my hand into such an unnatural position. Apple would make a killing on a really quality mouse that’s either wired or wireless or both

Grip came off after four months

After only owning this mouse for four months, and having normal usage, the side grip for the mouse came off. The grip seems to be held on by a cheap glue which does not hold up well. After contacting them to RMA the mouse, they agreed to replace it. However, issues started occurring after they wanted me to return it via FedEx

I really liked this mouse.

I was so baffled by the lack of something so basic that I contacted Razer's support to confirm it was true, and they did. I replaced it with a SteelSeries Rival 310 for $10 less. Similar sensor, better hand shape, and it actually has onboard memory that stores lighting profiles.

Weight

My only complaint about this mouse is the weight. It’s rather heavy for a mouse hence the 4 stars.

Looking for a Razer DeathAdder Elite, wireless replacement. Any suggestions? I have big hands and am looking for that right handed ergonomic feel.

Went from the Razer DeathAdder Elite (wired) to the Model D, very similar shape and feel and also very light (68 grams) which really makes a difference.
