Battery Life

All it needed was a totally new keyboard and faster processors

2GHz to get something done and then ramp it back down to 1.1GHz to preserve heat and battery life. This is a pretty normal strategy now.

Awesome tech with real potential, but some real life drawbacks make it not for me.

The specs of the machine are great and performance is high. The second screen is not terribly bright and the viewing angle is not great unless it is truly on your lap. And even then, it’s a heavy laptop by most comparisons. The big worry for me was the battery life, which was not averaging above 3 hours under my real life normal use

This means the i3 MacBook Air is quieter for longer periods of time, even when you stress it.The MacBook Air with the dual-core i3 processor is the better device for basic workloads. The subjective performance impression is very good in these scenarios, the fan is quieter, and you can still enjoy the good display as well as the improved keyboard

You can then decide for yourself if my negative marks are worth considering. For starters this is not a laptop. It is too heavy and uncomfortable to use on your lap. Apart from being very heavy the screen jabs you legs and cuts of your circulation after 20 minutes and then your wrists are aching because there is no proper wrist wrest
