Apple AirPods Pro vs Hifiman Ananda Headphones

The sound quality is good, The in ear fit is not good, I tried all 3 sizes of the supplied silicone ear tips and none fit properly. I tried the proper fit app on my iPhone and could not get an "Okay" on the app. I don't feel they fit securely enough, so I will only use them when I am seated. The Air Pods are not comfortable for any lengthy listening session

I have higher expectations for headphones that is a quarter of the Ananda’s price. (One can study apple or oneplus's packaging) Even the fancy leather looking box is poorly designed. It’s useless after you take out the headphone. While the box looks big, it is a tight fit

So I decided to purchase the pros since they won’t slip as easily as the original AirPods (Let me start by saying they came pretty fast, and they were packaged safely!) I’d say this is a great investment, it’s very comfortable and from what I’ve gathered so far on these is you can answer your calls, skip and rewind back with your music as well, it’s very sound proof so if you’re one of those people who do best getting tasks done during work, school, or even at home without noise around you, these are the way to go. The headband fit is secure and also quite comfortable, with a thin leather strap that rests atop your head while the matte black band rises over the top, never making contact with you.

I’ve used airpods pro for 6 months heavily, i’ve a/b tested noise cancelling on airpod pro with these...These are better beside a busy road or air con unit

Anyway, this isn't a streaming review. Point is you absolutely have to drive these with good quality sources. I read a ton of reviews before buying these and saw people saying you could drive these with a phone. Well, you can, I guess, but probably shouldn't

I’m sorry. I can’t recommend this product. If Sony US team is reading this review and if Sony Japan is designing all the products, please tell the Japan team that you don’t need to make too many half-baked products. You just need to offer 3 tiers of products (aka “good”, “better” and “best”) and focus on making sure they are the best products at their price points

Ananda might be the best headphone for the money today. At this price, they outperform anything else I’ve tried under $1000. I previously owned the “bigger brother,” HiFiMan Arya and a number of other dynamic driver headphones (Focal Elex, Focal Clear, HD800, HD650/6XX, HD58X, Fidelio X2). I’ve since sold everything else including various amps in the $200-500 range
