Apica Premium CD Notebook vs Leuchtturm1917 Hardcover Notebook

Great fountain-pen-friendly notebook, for those who like a smoother, silkier paper. Only deducted one star because I think the B5 version of this notebook is the better choice--it's significantly larger for a small price increase, making it a much better deal per square inch of writing surface. If you truly need a smaller notebook, use this, but otherwise get the Apica Premium C.D

•Price - It's a no-brainer, but I have to include this one. At a marginal price increase from the ubiquitous, evil Moleskine (a forty-cent difference at my time of purchase), you get a tremendous leap in performance and usability. You simply cannot beat an amazing little book like this for under twenty dollars. CONS •Flimsy strap - This isn't a big one, because let's be honest, your clasp does not to have a vice-like grip on your journal (unless it's pure vellum, but if you can afford that then a Leuchtturm is far too Plebeian for you, eh?)
