The EPAX seems like the best choice, but it’s over my price range once I factor in other stuff like the curing station. The 4K printers seem to be underproduced and only one of the companies even has parts for sale

Now you may have done this already, so this next part might be key for you, as it was for me. As the print starts extruding the purge line, and then the skirt/brim, look really really close at the filament being laid down. If it isn’t sticking at all right away, nozzle is almost definitely too far from the bed. If it’s sticking but not well, still probably too far

Checked it out for flatness on the CMM again and wow, almost 4x better flatness. Replaced the plate I have and prints stick to it like glue because of the textured laser etching. Shipping wasn't bad at a couple weeks for the replacement. Still a little sore about the initial one being so poor but have to give credit where it's due since they were quick to replace it with no hassle

So it is smart enough to know not to put a hot nozzle into the bed. I'M really happy to see that kind of attention to detail all right. So it is 117 t...

The touch screen is old tech, its not capacitive (sensing your body's electricity) but resistive (like pressing an air bubble, a tech from the first touch devices in the 90s). And changing the resin bath is super expensive (I hope cheaper alternatives become available soon, cause the price Anycubic demands for a framed sheet of plastic is just ridiculous). Overall my experience was good, and for the price it's really a steal.

The Prusa i3 mk3s+ doesn't interest me much because of the cost relative to features though I had looked into it. I had also considered a Voron kit but it's more work than I want to take on and I dislike the idea of having to run dual motherboards.
