 We're hobbyists though, and can't justify spending thousands for something we may never use after setting it up. That curiosity "itch" never went away, so you watch prices for it to come down go a reasonable price range..

 The other style of printer does provide higher quality, but at the cost of requiring hazardous chemicals in the creation process. With the purchase of the Vyper 3d printer, it came with the test file to create the owl seen here. 4 Stars! Hope you find this review and pictures helpful! Reasonably priced and easy for newbies!

Perfect for Newbies! Easy to Use!

 It probably took me a half hour because I was taking my time and really going through the parts while I put it together. A beginner could build this with no issues (but do watch the video on their site).  Price: There are better printers out there. But I doubt there are better printers at this price point

  Speed: The "Benchy" printed above was completed in an hour. And with no real tuning except for messing with settings in the slicing software and completing the auto-level. It appears at a glance that I can get quality superior to my Ender 3 in a lot less time.  Build Quality: While I am aware that there have been some issues with the initial beta batch of printers, this one came together really nicely and has very little vibration while printing

 The improvements they have made are minimal, but it's a solid design that requires a lot less customization than my Ender 3 where I spent days printing upgrades before it was ready to use.  Ease of Assembly: This was so easy to build. Like seriously easy. And the instructions on their site are very easy to follow

  I think it is worthwhile to point out some of the really nice features they have integrated into a model at this price point:  Magenetic Build Plate is so much easier to use than my old glass plate and clips solution. Dual Z rods really seem to be stable. Belt tightening built in (I think this was my biggest ongoing issue) with my Ender 3. The easy feed for the extruder

 However, the Magnetic spring steel build plate will not hold the base of the model and you have a mess of stranded plastic on the bed (see Pic). Even after wiping it down with alcohol to get the hand oils off after scraping the plastic that is left behind with the included scraper. Now i have to use glue stick to ensure the base of the model sticks. The build plate my option has failed in 3 weeks!

 What also with our sea life on and part of the reason I'm calling this a final review is because he already talked about printing abs and how you had to cover the machine, because the bed can only get to 85 degrees and he needed to insulate to The area around it to keep the ABS print printing and he did show off a wonderful print and it looks just choice. He also printed flexible filaments, which is great. I do plan on printing abs and I do plan on printing, flexible filaments on this machine. I just haven't had the opportunity to do that yet so I'm going to lean on the experience of our sea life on he's a reviewer that I trust, and so I know that it will work on this machine because it worked with his machine

 What to do if you're somebody who needs a direct drive on a large format printer which has to work reliably, this machine is something for you only if you want to invest some time, tinkering and improving the machine, it's not that extreme, but you will need some Time, if you're, a user who wants to take it out of the box, assemble it for 20 minutes and then never touch it again, then this machine might not be for you to give you a little bit impression of my own journey about a sprinter. I made this small little graphics, where you have time on the x-axis and height on the y-axis um. Basically, this was my experience after buying the printer. This probably is where i released my first impressions video

Is this good? Creality CR 10 v3 - 8 Month Review

 however, im confused by the lack of specific upgrade parts for it. Do all standard CR-10 components aside from replacement bed and frame parts work for my CR-10mini? Or should I expect to handle mild modification processes and/or retrofitting to just about anything I try? The info ive gathered through hours of googling seems to go both ways and while I dont mind a little extra work to make the best of whats available, I would just rather not waste money on completely incompatible replacement/upgrade components by mistake.

If you are new to 3D printing, and are unsure of what to ask, try to include the following in your posts as a minimum:

* Your budget, set at a numeric amount. Saying "cheap," or "money is not a problem" is not an answer people can do much with. 3D printers can cost $100, they can cost $10,000,000, and anywhere in between. A rough idea of what you're looking for is essential to figuring out anything else.
* Your country of residence.
* If you are willing to build the printer from a kit, and what your level of experience is with electronic maintenance and construction if so.
* What you wish to do with the printer.
* Any extenuating circumstances that would restrict you from using machines that would otherwise fit your needs (limited space for the printer, enclosure requirement, must be purchased through educational intermediary, etc).

While this is by no means an exhaustive list of what can be included in your posts, these questions should help paint enough of a picture to get started. Don't be afraid to ask more questions, and never worry about asking too many. The people posting in this thread are here because they want to give advice, and any questions you have answered may be useful to others later on, when they read through this thread looking for answers of their own. Everyone here was new once, so chances are whoever is replying to you has a good idea of how you feel currently.

Additionally, a quick word on print quality: Most FDM/FFF (that is, filament based) printers are capable of approximately the same tolerances and print appearance, as the biggest limiting factor is in the nature of extruded plastic. **Asking if a machine has "good prints," or saying "I don't expect the best quality for $xxx" isn't actually relevant for the most part** with regards to these machines. Should you need additional detail and higher tolerances, you may want to explore SLA, DLP, and other photoresin options, as those *do* offer an increase in overall quality. If you are interested in resin machines, make sure you are aware of [how to use them safely](https://www.reddit.com/r/3DPrinting/wiki/resinprinting#wiki_safety). For these safety reasons we don't usually recommend a resin printer as someone's first printer.

Purchase Advice Megathread: What To Buy, Who To Buy It From, And More, In October 2021

 The provided, slicer and inbuilt slicing profiles were also easy to use and, ultimately, the print quality on the majority of my models was quite reasonable. The profiles just need a little bit of tweaking to dial in retraction. The touchscreen interface does a good job in the majority of situations. Models generally stuck well to the glass bed and self-released once they'd cooled down, and i have no complaints about the extruder which is easy to operate and had no problems: printing, flexible tpu

 However, let's move on with unboxing and assembly the printer arrived without damage, thanks to the usual combination of cardboard and foam packaging assembly was pretty straightforward, there's two main components comprising of the upper and lower halves. A series of bolts joined them together and then the rest of the assembly is quite simple, including the braces at the back plugging in cables and installing the filament spool holder. All up i'd say it takes around 15 minutes for people that, like it, you do get the satisfaction of peeling off three separate plastic sheets. The user manual, for the most part, is quite good with clear instructions, clear diagrams and it made assembly quite straightforward
