. but having worked in injection molding plastics I'm particular about my "customer facing surfaces". I think they could have gotten there with this printer with maybe $100-$200 more in hardware to stiffen it up and make it work right "out of the box". I'd gladly have paid $700 if it worked with less tinkering on settings

Good Printer Overall - Has some Problems and Not for Beginners IMO

8mm nozzle with good results. I'm now happy with the printer and wanted to voice my quality control concerns since it set me back a couple months of troubleshooting/waiting for parts to get it working again.

Quality control issues from the factory, but once fixed, quite reliable

  Customer service responded to my initial request promptly, asked a few questions and began processing my request for a replacement bed. Replacement bed arrived from China in great condition. Customer service followed up with me several times to ensure my needs were being taken care of and it was an overall painless, pleasant experience. All companies should have customer service this good!  Overall Impression: I'd not hesitate to buy this printer again, or buy another one if I needed it

 The build volume means I can probably print whatever I want and lots of stuff I don't need.  It's not a fast printer. There's quite a bit of weight moving around with the bed and you don't want to go too fast unless you don't care about artifacts in your prints. Again, I didn't buy it for speed but for the volume

 Let's take a look Mp Cadet select button and we're going to do print from Sd and then here. we should be able to find the spool holder Mpc Cadet spool holder and I'll have a link to this one in the description. I can hit print and there we go. It will start printing for us

 We go from the top of the printer you have 3p Mp Cadet is showing the temperature of the nozzle disconnected from wi-fi and that is all I know. There would normally be a wizard on this from the very beginning. However, I believe this since the way I received this printer, this is going to be a little bit different than normal. So I want to go ahead and feed some filament in

 On this side you have where the power cable will plug in and the Usb cable right here. I have the power cable which I can go ahead and put in. This power cable actually has a switch on the front on the side of it that will allow you to turn it off and on from the power so it's not running all the time. Let's go ahead and power it on here

 And here is the cat that was on the printer already and it looks like it's good print quality. I wouldn't know since I've never printed before. I didn't know these were hollow on the inside either, but that's what was already on the printer. But I want to go ahead and test whether or not this printer actually will work for us

Should you buy MonoPrice Cadet 3D Printer???

 Auto bed leveling is done via this inductive sensor and it's capable of wireless printing via their Wii builder - Slicer or mobile app on iOS and Android Unfortunately, I Couldn't get the cadet to talk to my wireless network at all so I couldn't test the wireless printing the app used to configure. It is not good. It feels like it's incomplete. almost like a software developer was programming really hard and got to 80% of where they needed to be

 When it was done, I had a little cartoony looking dragon.  The next step was to try downloading a model from thingiverse and sending it over the network to the printer. I downloaded the app to my phone and used it to set up the WiFi details on the printer. With the coronavirus epidemic in full swing, I decided to print some clips to be used for making your own face mask

 The printer is supposed to work with Cura (and it's available in the downloads section on the Monoprice website), but I could never get the software to connect to the printer over wifi. It doesn't see the printer on the network, and I can't even get it to recognize the printer when I point to its IP address. I've tried different versions of Cura as well, with no success. Luckily, WiiBuilder seems to do everything I need it to, so I don't really miss Cura

  Finally, there's the software. WiiBuilder has worked well for me but is rather poorly made, it feels old and clunky and is in dire need of some usability updates and some time in front of a UI expert. The printer is supposed to work with Cura (and it's available in the downloads section on the Monoprice website), but I could never get the software to connect to the printer over wifi.  The Cadet's tiny print area limits the size of printed objects. I scaled one of our standard test objects, which combines geometric shapes and raised text, down to 60 percent of its normal size. To my surprise, except for a couple of rough spots, it printed well despite its miniaturization. Overall print quality for the Cadet was impressive considering the printer's low price
