Anker Soundcore Life Q20 vs Koss Porta Pro

I currently have Anker Soundcore Life Q20's so anything worse or only slightly better at noise cancelling isn't worth it. 3. I have social anxiety so I would prefer for them not to stand out too much.

I need a set of headphones that I can use at my computer, which is on a small rolling desk in front of my recliner...yeah, I'm a lazy old man

Everything sounds like it's meant to be there and is happening around me rather than just in my head. They are a little tight out of the box, but I'm sure they'll wear in. Overall, love love love these for my first big boy headphones.

Still, this isn't to say that they don't make for an engaging listening experience, as the mid-bass emphasis does aid the Portapros in creating a sort...

say Anker Soundcore Life Q30 have good noise cancellation on par with much more expensive headphones plus they are cheap

I have been using wireless earbuds for a while but these are much better in sound quality that it isn't even close. Let's me listen to music more personally while being compact and for far less than what it feels like they're worth. I had the clip-ons before and this feels better. I originally bought them because I saw a video of someone with them and liked the look but its worth more than the aesthetic

I planned on sharing the play experience with some friends, so earbuds were out of the question for sanitary reasons. I wasn't looking for stupidly-expensive headphones to have to play some VR games, but wanted something decent so Beat Saber would sound better haha. Previously, I had bought these $15 Panasonic headphones that had banger reviews, but once they arrived, I put them on, turned on some music, and instantly boxed it back up. Trash

I’m also pleased with the battery of these wireless headphones, which Koss rates to last for more than 12 hours and which I’ve yet to fully exhaust even once. After 3- and 4-hour listening sessions, the Porta Pro Wireless tend to still have more than 80 percent of their charge remaining, and I never feel in danger of running them down too quickly. Due to my habit of compulsively recharging all my gear, I simply end up plugging the Porta Pros in at some point during the week, which has proven sufficient so far. The fact they charge via MicroUSB instead of USB-C, however, is an annoyance in 2018

Not a deal breaker. TL;DR: So overall, I recommend these headphones if you are looking for a solid pair of cans at a reasonable price, KNOWING WHAT YOU ARE BUYING. These are not going to give you superior performance on any feature, except for battery life. They are definitely acceptable for what you're paying for, and so long as the build quality holds up, should meet your needs for a couple of years

Battery life is pretty good. I can get through a six hour conference call marathon, but it'll leave me using laptop speakers and mic by the end of the day because you can't charge during use. Comfort is better than par. Anything under 4 hours at a stretch has been no problem for me

Once you have them in place, the PortaPros are actually very comfortable--they're featherweight and additional cushions on top of the ear pads prevent the headset from slipping. The comfort level is taken a step further with what Koss calls their "Comfort Zone." This feature has three mechanical settings that let you adjust the tension of the earpiece against your head. The downside is that there's no way to lock the headband in place and the sliders like to get caught in your hair as you take them on and off

3. They don't fold up as small as the Sonys or even my ATs. This one alone is not worth docking a whole star, but it's the only other complaint I have. Carry-on space is so limited, and there's a pocket in my bag that the Sonys fit in, and these don't (not by much though)

However there's just a thin band of metal going across the top of the head, and they are not over the ear type so no cushion around the ear. They are "on ear", which is fine, but forget any noise cancellation. There was some sort of "comfort" adjustment on both sides from "firm" to "light" (pressure?) but no instructions, and adjusting it did almost nothing that I could tell, just seemed like a gimmick. The whole thing was very lightweight, which was nice, but also appeared sort of flimsy
