But for gamers , definitely but an aftermarket cooler to get better frequencies and temps.

WOW~! This GPU is wonderful. I've had it for one day now and I've played every game I own with it and I cannot express how much of a difference it has made compared to my previous cards which I had Crossfired. I'm getting 10-20 frames per second more than what I used to get and not only that, but the thermals of this card keep my computer nice and cool instead of turning it into a heater. I have a Thermaltake Tower 900 so the airflow is not as optimal as other cases, but this card has extremely low temps, even under load, so it helps keep my big box nice and cool by not getting as hot as some cards on the market

Great for Windows, in my experience.

However, seeing Ubuntu as having not as great of a selection for games, I switched back to Windows after that short period of time, and found that this card gives an decent PC 60 FPS on common areas of most Benchmarks*. *Performance may slightly vary by system build.

com and ran my diagnostics test. It came out exactly as it should have, around 50th percentile for a gtx 1060. Gaming is perfect, but the cost of this thing is obviously outrageous. If you have the patience wait for the market to recover, because 300$ is very inflated for this graphics card

Compatibility

Excellent price for performance, AMD is unbeatable IMHO

Not only price point, but AMD processors as a whole are far better with power consumption; the TDP for AMD Ryzen processors is roughly half that of equivalent Intel processors (mid 60's for AMD, mid 120's for Intel). Prices are from Amazon; performance is from CPU-Z benchmarks. The Ryzen 5 5600x is an excellent CPU if you do not want to spend 200+ on a good processor. I highly recommend for lower/mid-tier builds and make sure you pair it with a Zen 3 motherboard to exploit its full potential

It's over 10" long, so make sure it fits in your case w/o hitting your harddrive bay. Has an 8-pin GPU power connector, so we bought an adapter from two Molex 4-pin harddrive power connectors.

Power Consumption

I built my first gaming pc and chose this cpu, I’ve had it for 5 months now and it hasn’t slowed me down at all. At first I used it with a gtx 1070 and it ran everything great. recently I got a 6750xt and everything still feels really nice, sometimes it does bottleneck me a little but that rarely happens. The best thing about this cpu for me is its power consumption, if I had a more power hungry cpu I probably wouldn’t be able to have the setup I have now without having to buy another psu
