Altra Lone Peak 6
Excellent shoes
I have been wearing Altras for 3 years now. They have become my go to. My feet don't get tired as often and they don't hurt. The toe shaped box has changed my life. I love the fit and feel of these shoes.

Gear Review: Altra Lone Peak 6 Trail Shoe - Trail to Peak
If you’re looking for a shoe that will keep your feet happy, healthy, and blister free, you can’t really go wrong here. For 80% of the trails I hike, the Lone Peak 6 is the perfect tool for the job. With another Camino pilgrimage planned for this summer, the LP6 is currently my top choice, and should be yours, provided your needs are the same

Hoka One One Mach 4
This New Hoka Sneaker Is a Sweet Spot Shoe for All Types of Runners
Brooks, Nike, and Saucony all have similar hierarchies within their running shoe lines, so it makes sense that Hoka is following suit with a multiple shoe solution to your next PR. But for me, the Mach 4 feels more versatile than any of the aforementioned highly tuned training models, or even a carbon plate shoe. The level of comfort just walking around wearing them is part of that, while the eye-catching look is another aspect

Great shoes with minimal changes from past success
So for starters, I have owned Lone Peak 3's and 4.5's over the years and now the 6's, I also have Escalante's and Superiors for non hiking use.
The most important thing to know is that if you own a pair of 4.5's/5's it won't be a major upgrade, I'd recommend wearing your current pair till they com...
