Bought it mostly for the UHD resolution as I do some image, video etc. but also game. While my aged 1080TI can't hit over 100fps in most recent games (Outriders for example), the image quality is still impressive. We test monitors with a Datacolor SpyderX Elite colorimeter, a Murideo SIX-G signal generator, and Portrait Displays' CalMAN 5 software.

It makes me want to sell my Alienware ultrawide due to the color accuracy & generally loveliness of 4k. One look at the monitor & it becomes apparent that quality control is probably a lottery but my model seems great as of yet, with even very very little backlight bleed, & I'm picky when it comes to those areas. That said, build quality was better than expected, the monitor feels substantial. My opinion, this monitor is in a whole league of its own given it's combination of high refresh rate, price point, no front logo(fantastic), slim bezels, 4k resolution & color capabilities

Only issues: 1) Monitor Stand is massive - will have to buy a monitor arm (any recommendations would be appreciated) 2) My box was damaged, missing DP Cable in the box (not Dell's fault). 3) Very inconvenient cable placement, you must take off the removable back panel and swing it around to connect, while this might not be an issue for some, with such a big stand and not a lot of desk room, it is a bit of a hinderance. But it does look clean, so this CON depends on the user. 4) Alienware Command Center cannot locate the monitor (not a big deal, I didn't buy it for the lighting features anyway, but it could be a problem for some gamers) 5) The stand pushes the monitor very forward, not a deal breaker, the monitor arm will fix this issue but from the back of the stand to the front of the monitor, it is around 9 inches, which is a problem if you have a narrow desk

If you're in an office environment or something like that, you won't notice. If you are going for a quiet PC build, I would stay away. This was a deal-breaker for me. Also, be aware that the stand is quite big and bulky
