Good resolution. Tilts up, down, and side to side which is nice. My only complaint is that you can’t adjust the brightness or contrast (or much of anything else, picture-wise) without a 3rd party app. Ok for gaming, easy to see in dark areas like caves or at night in-game, but the contrast is so high that dark colors look almost black and lose definition in bright, daytime conditions (also in-game)

I'm using a VESA certified KableDirekt DP 1.4 cable and two high end HDMI 2.0 cables, very tight and unnecessarily crowded port area, there’s plenty of space to spread them out more. - Noticeable overshoot in MS Office, web browsing (text) and other apps when using the faster or higher response time setting, sometimes noticeable during gaming as well, you are left using the slowest setting, fast

Oh, and it also has excellent response times and a great warranty. I will update this review if anything changes. This monitor is hard to find, I had to watch amazon for a month to get it, but if you see it available for $180, it's an excellent deal. UPDATE 1/21 (Original review posted 5/20): The dead pixel is no longer there, it must have been only a stuck pixel and I cannot see any defective pixels any more

- I am currently up to 120 hz refresh rate vs. the desired 144 hz. This could be hardware induced since my laptop (Lenovo Ideapad 5 15 with AMD RYZEN 4700U) does not have a Display Port and I am currently using a HDMI 1.4 connection

I went with the Asus vp249qgr over the AOC 24G2 in the end to avoid the horrible 'gamer' aesthetics. May last monitor lasted me 11 years and I don't want to be living with that red thing.

Only issues: 1) Monitor Stand is massive - will have to buy a monitor arm (any recommendations would be appreciated) 2) My box was damaged, missing DP Cable in the box (not Dell's fault). 3) Very inconvenient cable placement, you must take off the removable back panel and swing it around to connect, while this might not be an issue for some, with such a big stand and not a lot of desk room, it is a bit of a hinderance. But it does look clean, so this CON depends on the user. 4) Alienware Command Center cannot locate the monitor (not a big deal, I didn't buy it for the lighting features anyway, but it could be a problem for some gamers) 5) The stand pushes the monitor very forward, not a deal breaker, the monitor arm will fix this issue but from the back of the stand to the front of the monitor, it is around 9 inches, which is a problem if you have a narrow desk

lol As for the bad review about size, the person is obviously not measuring it right so no need to worry about getting sent the wrong size.
