 It'S not gon na have quite as much organization as this bag here and it doesn't have things like a separate shoe compartment or the ability to add a waist belt. But if you're, just looking for a very stylish bag, that's gon na work well for taking into the office or for traveling that's gon na be a little bit smaller than this. I definitely commend you.  I definitely commend you. Take a look at the oppose this invisible carry-on. The next thing this made me think of was the fjällräven raven 28, which is just a really great all-around daily and minimal travel bag. It also came in at around 28 liters

 So really great, versatile size. And so, as I was testing the South, the first bag that this made me think of was the larger version of the travel pack to the bags, have a very similar, aesthetic and organizational layout and if you're looking for something that has a little bit more space. That'S gon na be a really tough option. To beat another good option to check out would be the our Quito ochsner, which we looked at pretty recently

 What I really don’t like is the shoulder straps. They are very uncomfortable. The side pockets are useless for holding water bottles. But I really hate the shoulder straps

When I first got it, I actually thought it was nice. But I bought this as a carry on for my international travel and unless you really carry a laptop with you, that extra compartment dedicated for it is just adding bulk. What I really don’t like is the shoulder straps. They are very uncomfortable

 I took a hike with this bag on (I know - probably not really what its designed for) - and it worked out perfect. The back is as padded/breathable as you could expect, and the front chest strap helped to keep the bag tight against my chest without all of the weight being squarely on my shoulders. -Durability: I cant speak to the long term durability of this bag given I've only taken one trip with it - but the material seems really thick and I had no concerns if my items would be well protected when wearing this around or throwing it in a trunk -Portability: It was really important that this bag count as a "personal" item, as I already had a hard-shell rolling carry on that I was taking on my trips. I was able to put this in the American Airlines personal item measurement thing, and it fit fine

 This meant I could easily grab my xbox controller or a snack without having to hoist the bag up into my lap and open the whole thing. -Comfort: Its actually pretty comfortable to wear. My basic requirements are that it should clear airplane guidelines for carry-on (naturally) but also be easy to travel with, in case I need to get into shuttles or trains and move briskly with it.

I'd also like to have a compartment for electronics, primarily for an ipad or small laptop. Waterproofing would be nice but isn't essential, as I won't be outdoors that often.

Lastly, and definitely the most optional, is if there's a compartment for shoes or dirty clothes - as sometimes I might want to use it for the gym, or something.

Appreciate any recs!

 Amazing! The zippers are YKK...another reason that made me decide to purchase this backpack

Surprisingly roomy and comfortable!

  Lastly, I understand the utility of having the cinch straps on the outside of the bag but why are SUCH a pain always having to snap and unsnap them just to unzip the bag. Really wish there was an alternative to this type of design.  At the end of the day though, while not perfect, it’s by far the best bag I’ve found so far for long weekend trips. If you purchase this bag I suspect you’ll be very happy

 I'd like to see another external pocket so I can have quick access to small electronics. I would also like to see a smaller version of this, maybe a 30-35L and have the height be less than 18" so that it can pass the Frontier Airlines' (and other low-cost carrier) personal bag restriction.

The only thing I wish this bag has was a hidden magnetic back slip-pocket, which is featured in the Nathan, Sheppard, and Lark. That pocket comes in handy to store a wallet or phone securely

 The rubber flap and twist snap look cool and clean.  Think of this roll top like a Hershel Little America but with WAY more organization and with tank like build quality.  Construction and materials is excellent.
