What I really don’t like is the shoulder straps. They are very uncomfortable. The side pockets are useless for holding water bottles. But I really hate the shoulder straps

The design is neat and elegant. The material's resistance seems good. I used it for carry on in the airport and it was comfortable and reliable. Nothing too special about the fabric though

This meant I could easily grab my xbox controller or a snack without having to hoist the bag up into my lap and open the whole thing. -Comfort: Its actually pretty comfortable to wear. I took a hike with this bag on (I know - probably not really what its designed for) - and it worked out perfect. The back is as padded/breathable as you could expect, and the front chest strap helped to keep the bag tight against my chest without all of the weight being squarely on my shoulders

Lasted four years of college carrying loads of books and only shows light wear (scuffed bottom and handle on the top). - Very comfortable. The mesh on the shoulder straps are very soft and protective, and the structure evenly distributes weight. - Basically waterproof

-The inside of the main pocket is a very soft material and more spacious than expected. This includes a laptop pocket, well padded and easily fits my 13.3inch laptop and charger. -The pockets come with waterproof zipper covers

Amazing! The zippers are YKK...another reason that made me decide to purchase this backpack

- The zippers are extremely hard to open and close. I didn't realize how bad it is until I had bought one. Look at the manufacturer video 1:28-1:34 and see how often the zipper gets caught so he has to apply more force. - The media pocket (pocket inside the main storage) is very small

Lastly, I understand the utility of having the cinch straps on the outside of the bag but why are SUCH a pain always having to snap and unsnap them just to unzip the bag. Really wish there was an alternative to this type of design. At the end of the day though, while not perfect, it’s by far the best bag I’ve found so far for long weekend trips. If you purchase this bag I suspect you’ll be very happy

The width of the straps at shoulder level are to blame as they are not wide enough to distribute the weight. I also worry that they will snap off. The same can be said of the leather handle on top, which I think is more for decoration that use. The zippers are also thin and not heavy duty enough for a backpack--imagine the zipper on a windbreaker

I'd like to see another external pocket so I can have quick access to small electronics. I would also like to see a smaller version of this, maybe a 30-35L and have the height be less than 18" so that it can pass the Frontier Airlines' (and other low-cost carrier) personal bag restriction.

Its a nice easy to access compartment and would definitely be a good place for sunglasses, or pencils and such. The secondary pouch section also has the red paisley lining. It has a zipper mesh section, I use this for coins, plus some pencil pockets, a large pocket and 2 other small pockets. There is also a plastic clip that would be good for keys
