I want something that will have a good bass profile and overall sound quality, no muddy bass or piercing highs, and can hold a stable connection to iPhones/Apple products.

Orchestral tracks, like the opening scene in John Adams' The Gospel According to the Other Mary, sound phenomenal. You get the richness of the lower register instrumentation and the bright treble edge of the higher register strings, brass, and vocals perfectly complementing each other. The balance here is nearly perfect, with the bass response playing a supporting role without shrinking into the distance—you get a wonderful sense of the space the recording was made in, and ideal clarity throughout the entire frequency range.

The con, a big one, is durability. As one user said, their obsolescence is as certain as clockwork. Steve compared the Triple Driver with his favorite under $100 in-ear headphone, the FiiO EX1, and found the sound very different. Bass is good enoughish, could be better. CONS: Noise cancel does deliver a slight pressure like if you were going down a mountain and the attitude changes. 1 year warranty is BS from Bose, it should be 2 years at least. The connectivity is very spotty. Reviews call these are some of the best-sounding true wireless offerings, but I find that the highs sounds rather poor. My 1Mores blow them out of the water at less than half the price. In some circumstances (walking by a busy road) I find Normal mode better than ANC. * When the battery has run out and I put them back in the charging case, my connected device does not switch to another speaker/mic, since the case itself is a BT device (I see two devices in my Bluetooth list, the case and the buds), so I have to do this manually.

Just doing a side by side test based on comfort and audio clearness, my old (2015) iPhone earphones (that have been through the washing machine, oops) are better than these. I reached out to the seller, and based off the other reviews, there's a good chance that they will clear this up and I will get a pair of earphones worth the $60 price tag. In this case, I will update my review to reflect any new information. If not, then I will be quickly returning these (and awfully frustrated that I have to pay return shipping out of pocket for such a disappointing product)

The biggest downside to these buds is the price and the sound, I was really expecting a much. much better sound coming from $250 earphones. Don't get me wrong, these by no means sound bad, but they don't sound great either.
