Stress Points- Judging from the timeline of breakages, that they are designed to be worn daily for 1 year. A small tear in the pivot point of the shoe forms almost immediately, but a touch of glue has kept that small until now. After 1 year waterproofing was leaking from a small opening in the rubber strip that goes around the sole, but again a touch of glue fixed it. After 2.5 years a hole in sole has formed (simply for normal sole wear), and various fabric tears have developed (see left shoe), but that is mainly my fault since I don't use a shoehorn, and I should. Still usable as "throwaway shoes", as glue and seams have otherwise held.
Positive Remarks- They are EUR 19.95 in Italy (USD 25 online), which is half than the standard least expensive sneaker that usually lasts half as much. Counting how much they lasted, they are by far the cheapest shoes you can buy and of better quality of your generic branded sneaker that costs AT LEAST twice as much. These fail comparison only to EUR 80 sneakers upwards.
