Stress Points- Transmission /gear case was damaged after three years of normal use. Symptom was a very loud noise during the spin cycle. I linked to the YouTube video that shows how to replace the part. It’s straight forward but not entirely easy. I feel like a washing machine should last more than 3 years. Cost to replace the part was around $180 - 250 depending on where the part was purchased.
