Stress Points- Supposedly quantum dot layer burn in, as seen in the left corner of the screen (dark spot). Few days after 2 year warranty expired.

I would actually guess that that is where a single backlight LED burned out. So it's a spot lacking back light, rather than the lcd dying in that area and not letting light through If this theory is correct, finding settings to make the backlight slightly less bright could extend the life significantly... For others who have this, or any lcd-led tv really And with this theory, it would be an extremely difficult repair to attempt, best option is replace or live with it as long as you can
