- The control stopped working. The KitchenAid website does not recognize the model number so there was no help found there. I contacted KitchenAid by phone and was informed that this product is not supported at all. After the one year warranty expires, no parts or technical documents are available for any of their countertop models. So, here is the issue I have with this. On KitchenAid’s website, there are 175 reviews. 115 of these reviews are negative, all relating to the control board that controls the start button which does not work. This product is still available for sale at any major appliance retailer at a price of 500 dollars. KitchenAid knows there is a problem with the product but continues to sell it with a one year warranty.
