The main zipper fails at the bottom. It isn't rugged enough to hold up to construction site usage. There's a piece that guides the zipper onto the chain that just fell off, rendering the zipper useless. I ended up using a seam ripper to remove the entire zipper so I could sew on another, more rugged 2 way zip. Solution for Makita is to use a better zipper, with larger teeth. I used a size 8, 2-way vislon.

Fix the zipper - needle nose pliers and patience - it's what seamsters/stresses do. It's just a mechanical element - when things get out of alignment problems occur - just takes getting everything back into alignment and re-crimping the main zipper.
