If you have not followed the cleaning and descaling procedure, I would highly suggest getting a pack of Cafiza tablets and a gallon of distilled vinegar and running many cleaning cycles. This happens to mine (8yr old) when it's overdue for a cleaning...the pump will stop but the water will dribble out typically because the 3-way solenoid valve isn't closing all the way. These are very popular and there's lots of forums/parts available to repair the machines.
