Have a Terminus XR in D2, its a very good knife. The clip is meh, but once you get used to it (gotta grab it by the clip, NOT the knife) its fine. The D2 is the best I've used, sharpened up fabulously, and it seems to be keeping a good edge.

Got the knife in two days so that was great!

Not a huge deal but the pocket clip was different than advertised. The flipper tab was extremely difficult to deploy and actually had to remove one of the springs inside the knife to get it to work correctly. Honestly a bit disappointed but for $50.00 it ...

Also a SOG terminus xr 3" flipper, came razor sharp right out the box and have had it for 2 years, almost daily use only had to really sharpen once, extremely sturdy as well, 45 bucks

Is the xr lock supposed to click in from one side? Seems like too much spring tention on opening. Can't get the thumb flick to work at all left handed. Has a sticky spot on opening with the xr lock sometimes. I may send it back.

And the SOG Terminus XR: The Feist is a very compact front-flipper with M390 steel, and the Terminus has S35VN Steel and their XR lock which is very strong and very fun to fidget with.

Listen to the other reviews that say they are getting the wrong knife. It's true. Other than that, good knife, excellent for the money. Might want to buy it on another site.

I disagree, while i'm not a benchmade fan my sog terminus xr has its flaws, and they're serious. . Sharp flippler tab, heavy flipper action needing spring adjustment and even now it's still not as nearly as smooth as stock bugout. The blade is thick and hence heavy, so not as easy to flip. The blade design can be way better.

I compared high and low, read reviews, compared steels. I am convinced you would have a VERY difficult time finding a knife that offers this much bang for the buck.
