Had to pull out the big clump of dirt with my hand. A lot of hair got caught in the cyclone too and that was absolutely disgusting to clean. After that ordeal I concluded that because the short battery life rushes me clean fast and emptying the dirt bin is disgusting every time, that this vacuum was not convenient at all by a long shot. I then boxed it back up, returned it, and will expedite the process to get a Sebo or another Miele from one of the local vacuum shops.

Everything about this vacuum was great, the stand, the suction, the battery life, the design, except for one fatal flaw, the main vacuum head. As others have pointed out, there is minimal to no clearance on this vacuum head. So while it is fine picking up dust and hair, it will push around anything ...

This is the first decent robot vacuum I've owned, it cleans really well, it auto empties, and it doesn't require disposable bags. It's cheap to operate, and auto empty vacuums are the most automated.

Vacuum works as it should, decent power and run-time. 3 stars because I can't find attachments to work with it.

After consulting this subforum, I was given the excellent advice to get an LG Cordzero A9 Charge. It was on sale for $329 at the time, making it the right cordless vacuum for my needs and budget. I've owned it for about a week, and so far so good.

An example would be LG with models such as their [CordZero or the [Ultimate Both come with charging stands and removable batteries, but the Ultimate comes with a dedicated hard floor tool if you are into that. The stand alone is worth getting the LG over the Dyson in my opinion and it can even be converted into several different forms such as a wall mount as well. There is not much benefit with getting the Dyson other than brand recognition.

This is a great vacuum, that does not take up a lot of space and holds a charge long enough for me to get through my daily sweeping and then some.
