I returned this item because I needed a wide brim hat that would cover the back of my neck on sunny days. The 3" brim on this hat did not appear to be sufficient. I found another hat with a 4" brim on Amazon. It was actually a better deal, costing me $9 versus the $22 for this Columbia hat.

I liked this hat, initially. However, the underside of the brim is gray. After taking an extremely close look at the hat on the website, I can see a small sliver of gray brim. Its clear that based on the product images, the gray brim is NOT obvious.
