Jabra Elite Active 75t

Faulty Materials

The left earbud began having issues maintaining sound in the last few weeks of ownership. The sound would start fine and match the right earbud, but, over the course of roughly 20 minutes or so, the sound would degrade where the bass would fully drop and the volume would be extremely quiet. Weirdly, repositioning the earbud would immediately solve the issue, but swapping out the ear tips had no difference in sound quality. Unfortunately, this is the 4th jabra true wireless earbuds set I've had that has died roughly 1 year into use. For the price, they really need to last longer. As such, I will not be purchasing more.

Clean sound quality when they worked, ANC was quite good, held a charge for quite a while.

Jabra Elite 75T

Inconvenienced

Battery no longer holds a charge. The buds themselves still hold about 5 hours of charge as advertised but the case is supposed to hold an additional 10 which really is down to 2-3 now.

The sound quality is great and the sound cancelling is pretty good considering its an earbud.

Jabra Elite 85h

Early Failure

The membrane of each driver became entirely delaminated within one year of use due to poor insulation from perspiration. This causes audio distortion, crackling and popping sounds even when the device is off, and strange noise-canceling and pass-thru effects. Pieces of the membrane were actually flaking off into the inside of the ear cups. Beware cheap replacement drivers, the noise-cancelling and pass-thru will not sound great if you get $5 replacement drivers.

The headphones themselves sound great and pair well with multiple devices. The drivers themselves are fairly easy to replace and high-quality replacements can be found at a variety of prices, just stay away from the cheapest.
