What Backpack and daypack should i buy for longterm/round the world travel?
Something I use as a day pack once I arrive in my destination. For that you need to go probably under 30liters. Tom Bihn, Bellroy, Aer are my favorites. Tortugas get somewhat mixed reviews, Arcido are the affordable underrated, ospreys are your ol' reliable, lukewarm dependable boyfriend that is always there and gets stuff done but it's not particularly exciting.

Does anyone here have Peak Design's packing cubes and the Able Carry Max?
If your 2 “units” being being the middle or the small cube are super full it might be tight depending of what you consider small. I have the Arcido wash bag that basically is a more sustainable replacement for a quarter zip lock bag – it’s usable in any airport and works because it fits anywhere. But I carry very little toiletries.
