    Agree, had same issue with battery after 8 months. Battery would not hold charge and then started overheating and giving off shocks. DYSON replaced battery once but not again.

    Check out the LG Cordzero models. Similar features/design to dyson but have removeable/replaceable batteries. Cheaper too
