It is fixable, tho you need new sliding pads + soldering iron + microswitches for mouse of your liking/original. The problem is that Logtech is using cheap microswitches that are known of this issue. I've bought wireless version of this mouse while knowing about it and I have everything I need in my room in case the problems starts to occur.
